Since the Drift Protocol incident on 1 April 2026, Guardian TradeBot has been offline while I reviewed, refined and rebuilt parts of the system.
The interruption gave me time to work on the underlying software, analysis tools and execution process. During that period, I updated both the trading system and the way performance is measured and analysed.
One of the main changes was incorporating actual trade entries and exits into more of the analysis, reducing reliance on theoretical execution assumptions. These changes still need to be assessed through continued live use.
Today marks the relaunch of live tracking.
The earlier trading period covered approximately five and a half months. Its results are documented on the performance tracker, alongside the calculation methods and exclusions. The published trading record excludes the capital loss associated with the Drift incident, and tracking resumes using replacement capital.
The revised setup uses different strategies and execution arrangements, so earlier results should not be treated as an indication of what it will achieve. Live tracking will record both gains and losses as they occur.
The focus remains on collecting data, checking execution and documenting the results. Past performance and changes to the software do not guarantee future profitability.
