As the owner of a X250 XF since 2017, I am excited to announce the release of a new high-quality replacement for the OEM C2Z31321 (or v2) gear/cog. This redesigned 3D printed part is both more affordable and stronger than the original equipment manufacturer’s version. Order here.
This means no more air vents failing to rotate in your Jaguar XF and no need to disable them due to worry of them failing to turn in and out of sight.
I have personally experienced the weakness of the OEM version of this part, having to replace it twice in my own vehicle. The first time was on the driver’s side vent, which was relatively easy to access. The second time, it was located in a more difficult-to-reach area, so I recommend replacing all three while they are exposed.
Dissatisfied with the OEM’s v2 version of this part, which only addressed the issue of the outer vane snapping off, I decided to take matters into my own hands. I modified the design to address the issue of the outer edge of the large viewing slot snapping, by creating a small porthole.
I have thoroughly tested the new gear/cog and found it to be able to withstand loads beyond normal operation, and as a result, I am offering a lifetime warranty on it. The part is made up of 55 individual layers of ABS plastic, which are internally woven with a grid mesh and fused together at 265 degrees Celsius, forming a part that is significantly stronger than its injection-moulded counterpart.
I am confident in the durability and strength of this gear/cog and am excited to offer it as a solution for those looking for a more affordable and reliable replacement for their OEM C2Z31321 (or v2) gear/cog. Order here.
